Eine große Bürde lastet auf Holly Williams. Sie muß auf Grund ihrer Geschichte besser sein als der Rest der Songwriter und Künstler in den USA. Als Angehörige vom Williams Clan wird sie besonders beobachtet. Doch sie muß sich keine Sorgen machen. Da Talent vererbbar ist und sie eine ganz großes Stück davon abbekommen hat, sind die Befürchtungen unbegründet, sie könnte es nicht schaffen aus dem Schatten ihrer Familie heraus zu treten. Mit „The Ones We Never Knew" liefert sie ihr Debüt Album ab. Für ein Erstlingswerk ausgesprochen ausdrucksstark. Sie geht im Gegensatz zum üblichen Nashville-Sound eher sparsam mit allem um. Keine großen Soundeffekte. Vielmehr dominieren Gitarre, Piano, Steel-Gitarre und Bass. Im Vordergrund steht dazu die Stimme von Holly Williams. Sie interpretiert Country-Music auf ihre ganz persönliche Art. Sehr ruhig und mehr im Stile einer Songwriterin. Es näher erklären zu wollen, würde Holly Williams nicht gerecht werden. Soviel sei aber gesagt, es ist kein Country-Pop.

There is a huge burden on Holly Williams. Because of her history she has to be better then the rest of Songwriters and Artists in the US. As a relative of the Williams Clan she gets watched very closely. But she doesn’t have to worry a bit. Talent runs in the family, and she has gotten a big chunk of it. So her worries that she can’t Step out of the shadow of her heritage have no reason. With „The Ones We Never Knew"she delivers her debut Album. For her first record, very well done. In compare to the usual Nashville-Sound she works more economical with everything. No large Sound effects. More dominating is the Guitar, Piano, Steel-Guitar and Bass. The main part is the voice of Holly Williams. It is her interpretation of Country-Music, in a very own personal way. Very quiet and more in the style of a Songwriter is her way to work. To try to explain it closer would not treat Holly Williams’s right. But this should be said, it is no Country-Pop.
