1973 zog es Ronnie Milsap nach Nashville, dem zu Hause der  Country-Musik. Noch im selben  Jahr unterschrieb er bei RCA einen Schallplattenvertrag. Seine erste Single-Auskopplung aus seinem ersten Album für RCA ,I Hate You, schaffte es bis in die Top-Ten der Country-Music-Charts. Im folgenden Jahr gelangen ihm dann sogar drei Nummer-1-Hits.

 Lange Zeit war es ruhig um ihn geworden. Verschiedene Projekte verfolgte er in dieser Zeit. Jetzt mit „My Life“ kehr er ins Rampenlicht zurück. Es ist ein gelungenes Werk geworden. Ronnie Milsap ist all die Jahre noch besser geworden. Seine Stimme noch ausgereifter. Es sollte nicht keinen wundern, wenn das Album wieder Preise absahnt.

1973 Ronnie Milsap moved to Nashville, the home of Country Music. In the same year he signed a record deal with RCA. His first Single from his first RCA Record”I Hate You”, made it all the way to the Top-Ten of the Country-Music-Charts. In the Following year, he even made 3 Number –1-Hits.

It has been quiet for a long while around him. He has had different projects in the mean time. Now, with „My Life“ he comes back into the Spotlight. It is a well done piece of work. Ronnie Milsap has gotten better in these years. His voice has developed very well. It should be no surprise when this Albums collects of awards again.
