Fast wäre man geneigt zu sagen es handelt es sich hier um ein Bluegrass Album der alten Schule. Doch so ist es nicht, aber das ist auch nicht schlimm. Denn Carrie Hassler überzeugt bei den 13 Songs stimmlich. Ihre Band Hard Rain eifert ihr musikalisch nach und so wird es einem nicht langweilig bei den Songs. Denn jedes mal, wenn die CD neu im CD-Spieler läuft, finden sich bei genauem Zuhören neue Punkte, warum es sich gelohnt hat die CD zu kaufen.

I could almost say that this Album is old school Bluegrass. But it is not like that, but it doesn’t matter, because Carrie Hassler proves with her voice in the 13 Songs. Her Band Hard Rain keeps up with her musically and so it never get’s boring in the Songs. Every time that you put the CD in the player you will hear new parts that will let you remember why you bought the CD.
