„Can't Stand The Moonlight", „One Way Ticket", „I Need You, Nothin' Bout Love Makes Sense" sind Songs die mit LeAnn Rimes unweigerlich in Verbindung gebracht werden. Mit 13 Jahren hatte sie ersten Grammys bekommen, wofür andere Künstler ein Leben lang warten. Billboard-Awards sammelt sie wie andere Briefmarken. Jetzt ist also das neue Album „Family" auf dem Markt. In den letzten Jahren hatte sie sich mehr und mehr auch beim Songwriting eingebracht. Und da war es nur eine Frage der Zeit bis sie ein Album veröffentlicht welches von Anfang bis Ende ihre Handschrift trägt. Mit dem Album probiert sie den Spagat zwischen Country, Rock und Pop. Sind Song wie „Family"und „Nothin' Better To Do"ganz klar dem Rock und Pop-Bereich zuzuschreiben, so kommen Freunde zeitgenössischer Country Music bei den Titeln „Fight" oder „Nothing Wrong" voll auf ihre Kosten. Der mit Abstand schönste Song auf dem Album ist „Til We Ain't Strangers Anymore", den sie zusammen mit keinem geringeren als Jon Bon Jovi im Duett singt. Selbiger Titel ist übrigens auch auf dem neuen Album „Lost Highway" von Jon Bon Jovi mit dabei.

She got her first Grammy with the age of 13, something other Artists have to wait a lifetime for. She collects Billboard-Awards like others do Stamps. Now her new Album „Family" is out on the Market. In the last few years she has gotten her own Songwriting more and more into her Songs. So it was only a matter of time till she was going to publish a record that has her handwriting from beginning to end. With this Album she is trying to spin the rope between Country, Rock and Pop. Songs like „Family" and „Nothin' Better To Do" are clearly in the Rock and Pop-section, and lovers of modern Country Music will enjoy the Songs „Fight" or „Nothing Wrong". The by far most beautiful Song on the Album is „Til We Ain't Strangers Anymore", wich she sings in a duett with noone less then Jon Bon Jovi. The Song is also on the new Album „Lost Highway" from Jon Bon Jovi.
