Mark Chesnutt ganz große Zeiten sind vorbei. Doch er hat von seinem Können nichts eingebüßt. Mit „Heard It In A Love Song“ probiert er an seine großen Erfolge jetzt wieder anzuknüpfen. Dabei lässt er es auf dem Album sehr ruhig am Anfang angehen. Bei „That Good That Bad“ zeigt Mark Chesnutt warum der Honky Tonk ihn in die Herzen der Country Fans seinerzeit spielte. Das Album als Ganzes betrachtet,  ist dann doch eher Durchschnitt und nicht so der Renner.

Mark Chesnutt’s big times are over, but he still knows what he is doing and has his Talent. With the Song “ Heard It In A Love Song” he trys to tie a knot to his big successes. In the beginning of the record he starts out rather slow. With “ That Good That Bad” Mark Chesnutt shows how, back then,  he played the Honky Tonk into the hearts of  Country Fans. The Album all together is more average, and not so much a smash.
