Das Album „Dierks Bentley“ brachte ihm national großes Ansehen. 2005 schaffte er es mit „Modern Day Drifter“ dann auch über die Grenzen der USA. Beide Alben schafften den Platin-Status. Jetzt ist sein neues Album „Long Trip Alone“ auf dem Markt. Dierks Bentley, der ein begnadeter Songwriter ist, hat es sich nicht nehmen lassen auch als Ideen-Geber für die Songs zur Verfügung zu stehen. Die Songs sind rockiger geworden. In die neuen Songs sind viele Erfahrungen der letzten Jahre eingeflossen. Besonders deutlich wird das bei dem Songs „That Don't Make It Easy Loving Me“. Hier wird gewissermaßen ein Konzerterlebnis verarbeitet. Es finden sich noch weitere Beispiele auf dem Album, die zeigen das Dierks Bentley erwachsen geworden ist. Es sollte nicht verwundern, wenn das Album, welches von Brett Beavers produziert wurde, wieder Platin-Status einfahren dürfte. Dierks Bently, a glorious Songwriter, couldn’t do without giving the ideas to the new Songs. The Songs have gotten more Rocky. Especially in the Song “That Don’t Make It Easy Loving Me” you can find that the experiences of the last years have influenced him. This Song basicly reflects a experience from a Concert. There are more examples like that on the Album, that show that Dierks Bently has grown up. It shoudn’t be a surprise if this Album, which is pruduced by Brett Beavers, reaches Platinum Status again.
