Blake Shelton, der von Album zu Album reift und jedes Jahr an sich arbeitet, zeigt sich musikalische sehr ausgereift. Mit Scott Joyce schrieb Blake Shelton den Song "Love Gets In The Way". Bei "On Good Day" holte er sich die Unterstützung von Jony Mastin und Jam Shapiso. Blake Shelton, der auch seinen persönlichen Fan-Club hat und der unter Blake Shelton Fan Club, P.O. Box 1511, Ada. OK 74821 erreichbar ist, zeigt seine Liebe zum Detail bei den elf Songs. Kein Titel gleicht dem anderen. Für wirkliche Country Fans ist das Album ein Muss. Für Fans der Popkultur eher weniger geeignet.

With his first two records "Blake Shelton" and "The Dreamer" they where very happy at Warner Bros. . Now with his third Album "Barn & Grill" the superlatives go head over heels. Not really a suprise. Blake Shelton gets better from Album to Album, and every year he works on himself and he matures musically more and more. Together with Scott Joyce the Song "Love Gets In The Way"was written by Blake Shelton. With "On Good Day" he got support from Jony Mastin and Jam Shapiso.
