Mit 75 Jahren hätte er lieber zu Hause für Freunde nur singen sollen. Auch wenn Ramblin Jack Elliott Einfluss auf Bob Dylan hatte. Wirklich weitergebracht hat es ihn selber nicht. Das Album plätschert nur so vor sich hin. Nicht einmal Lagerfeuerromantik will aufkommen bei den Songs. Dabei sollte sich Ramblin Jack Elliott gerade damit auskennen, denn er war schon als kleiner Junge ein waschechter Cowboy. Bei Amazon.de habe sie wohl die Alben erst bestellt und dann reingehört, denn es wird schon zum reduzierten Preis angeboten.

With his 75 years he should’ve better stayed at home to only sing for his friends. Even when Ramblin Jack Elliott had some influence on Bob Dylan, it didn’t really get him any further. Not even the romance of the great outdoors will come up. The record kinda splashes by. Even you should think that Ramblin Jack Elliott knows what to do, concidering he was a real cowboy allready as a little boy. At Amazon.de they had ordered the first Records and then listened to them. Now they are allready reducing the price.
