Handelt es sich doch um die letzten Songs, die in Zusammenarbeit von Johnny Cash mit Rick Rubin eingespielt worden sind. Bei den Songs spiegelt sich das Verhältnis von Johnny Cash sehr stark wieder. Es ist eher eine ruhiges Album vom Altmeister. Doch da es wohl nicht so schnell neue Songs von Johnny Cash geben wird, der Grund ist ja bekannt, ist das Album ein klarer Kauf.

Step by Step more and more Johnny Cash records come out on the market. This one deserves our special interest. It is a Album with his last recorded Songs that Johnny Cash did with Rick Rubin. The Songs show a lot ofJohnny Cash and his personality. It is a more quiet Album of the doyen. Concidering there won’t be any new songs, everybody knows why, is the Album a definite must have.
