Hank Thompson kann wohl mit guten Gewissen mit Garth Brooks verglichen werden. Denn beide waren für ihre Zeit neu und kamen mit Ideen, die die Musik revolutionieren sollten. So war er als einer der ersten Country Künstler Pioniere zu sehen, die auf Band aufnahmen und dazu dann noch, dass das erste Live-Album in dem Bereich von ihm kam. Im November 2007 verstarb Hank Thompson, doch seine Musik wird von Bear Family Records mit diesem Album inkl. Booklet, welches wirklich sehr ausführlich ist, hoch gehalten.

Hank Thompson can very well be compared with Garth Brooks. Both where new for there time and came along with ideas that would innovate Music. So you could call him one of the first Country Artist Pioneers, that would record on tape and then come out with the first Live-Album from the genre. Hank Thompson died in November 2007, but his Music is kept up high from Bear Family Records that publish this Album including a Booklet, which is very detailed.
