In den Staaten wird sie in einem Atemzug mit J. Cash oder W. Nelson genannt. Ihr jetzt neues Album besticht jetzt aber nicht so sehr durch Country Music, sondern ist eher im Bereich Folk und Alternativ anzusiedeln. Die einzelnen Songs gehen etwas schwer ins Ohr. Das liegt auch daran, daß man gewohnt ist von Künstlern einer Emmylou Harris etwas anderes zu erwarten. Doch vielleicht ist es auch gerade die Stilrichtung, die einen Erfolg erzielen kann. Die CD mit ihren 11 Songs wird jedenfalls die Nation spalten.

Her new Album now does not really go into Country Music; it is more the genre Folk and Alternative. The individual Songs go to the ear a little difficult. But maybe that is because you expect something different from an Artist like Emmylou Harris. But maybe just that change of her style could bring the success. The CD with its 11 Songs will Splitt the Nation.
