Was Garth Brooks für Amerika ist, ist Dave Reynolds für Australien. Dave Reynolds ist so sehr mit seinem Land und den Traditionen verwurzelt, dass es schon verwundert das er kein Farbiger ist. Verschiedene Auszeichnung zieren seinen Trophäenschrank. Als Songwriter, Gitarist und Entertainer kann er auf einen Erfahrungsschatz zurückgreifen, der so manchen großen Künstler fast neidisch werden lassen könnte.

In seinen Songs beschreibt er das Leben, die Liebe und vieles mehr. Im Einzelnen sieht das wie folgt aus:

„I‘m Aussie All Over" handelt von der Liebe zum eigenen Land, in dem Fall Australien. "Casey’s Luck" erzählt die Liebe der Australier für ein gutes Bier und deren Wettliebe. „Waltzing Matilada" von „Banjo" Patterson ist die inoffizielle National Hymne der Aussies.

Alle zwanzig Song jetzt hier vorzustellen würde zu weit gehen. Doch das muss auch nicht sein. Ach so, die Musikrichtung ist ganz klar traditionell anzusehen. Viel Country, Blues, ganz leichte Bluegrasseinflüsse und die unverkennbare Stimme von Dave Reynolds machen das Album hörenswert.

What Garth Brooks is for the US, is Dave Reynolds for Australia. Dave Reynolds is so deeply rooted with his Country and Tradition, that it is amazing that he is not a coloured Artist. All kinds of different Throphys can be found in his cabinet. As a Songwriter, Guitarrist and Entertainer he can look back to a knowledge that would let some big name Artist almost feel jealeous.

In his Songs he writes about Life, Love and much more. Individualy that looks like the following:

„I‘m Aussie All Over" is about the love to your homeland, here Australia."Casey’s Luck" is about the love of australians for good beer and betting. „Waltzing Matilada" from „Banjo" Patterson is the unofficial national anthem of the Aussies.

To review all twenty Songs here would go to far, and it is not needed. The Music Style would be clearly traditional. A lot of Country, Blues, and soft Bluegrass influences along with the unmistakable voice of Dave Reynolds makes this an Album well worth listening too.
