Man nennt Wayne Hancock auch den Meister des Hillbilly Swing. Und damit erklärt sich schon das ganze Album. 14 Songs, die den Blues und Western-Swing in sich haben. Von Anfang bis Ende spielt sich das Album wie in einem Guss. Selten gab es so ein geniales Album von Wayne Hancock. Seine Stimme hat so einen Reibeisensound, dass die Instrumente im Hintergrund eigentlich überflüssig sind, doch ohne sie würde der letzte Kick fehlen. Ein durch und durch gelungenes Album.

Wayne Hancock is also called the Champion of Hillbilly Swing. And that explains the hole Album-14 Songs, that have Blues and Western-Swing in them. From beggining to end the Album plays like formed unified. Another Album like this genius piece from Wayne Hancock can be looked for. His voice sounds like a rasp, so the instruments in the Background are almost not important, but without them, the last kick would be missing. A thru and thru well done Album.
