Es begab sich die Begebenheit, dass Vernon Oxford einen Plattenvertrag bei RCA erhielt. Er spielte ein Album für das in Nashville beheimatet Record Label ein und das Album verkaufte sich nicht wirklich. RCA feuerte Vernon Oxford recht schnell wieder. RCA im Glauben alles richtig gemacht zu haben, sah sich plötzlich einer Flut von Beschwerden aus England gegenüber. Auf Grund der starken Unterstützung konnte RCA nicht anders als ein Album nur für England von Vernon Oxford zu veröffentlichen. Vernon Oxford von so viel Unterstützung überrascht, sagte einmal: „So etwas hätte ich nie für möglich gehalten."

Mit seinem aktuellen Album kommt er dem Wunsch der Fans nach, die schon etwas länger auf ein neues Album von Vernon Oxford gewartet haben. Er bedient hier die Fans von Gospel über Country bis Bluegrass Music. Insgesamt 12 Titel vereint das Album von Vernon Oxford, der seine große Zeit in den 70er hatte.

Once upon the time, it happened that Vernon Oxford got a record-deal with RCA. He made a Album for the in Nashville residented Record Label and it really didn’t sell. RCA fiered Vernon Oxford fast, and RCA under the impression to have done the right thing, all of a sudden looked upon a flod of complains from England. Because of the great support, RCA coudn’t get around then to publish a Album from Vernon Oxford just for England. Vernon Oxford suprised by all the support, said once: „I never thought that something like that was possible."

With his current Album he pleases the Fans that have been wanting and waiting for a new Album from Vernon Oxford for a while. He gives his Fans everything from Gospel over Country to Bluegrass Music. All together 12 Songs make this Album from Vernon Oxford one of the big ones, which he had had allready in the 70^th.
