Sein letztes Studio-Album hatte den Titel „My Heart To You" und stammt aus dem Jahr 2003. Seit vierzig Jahren gehört Don Williams zu den erfolgreichsten und respektiertesten Country Künstlern auf der Welt. Am 27. Mai, 1939, in Floydada, Texas geboren, stand er schon mit 3 Jahren auf der Bühne bei einer Talent-Show. 56 Top 40 Country Hits in den USA, 17 davon stiegen bis auf Platz 1. Doch Don Williams ist auch ein begnadeter Songwriter. So spielten Künstler wie Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton, Lefty Frizzell, Sonny James, Lobo, Charley Pride, Kenny Rogers und Pete Townshend Songs von ihm. Mit 14 Jahren schrieb er übrigens seinen ersten eigenen Song „Walk It Off". Immer wieder waren es die Balladen, die Don Williams Erfolge bescherten. Zum ersten Mal nimmt sich eine Best Of Compilation dieser Balladen an. Von „The Shelter Of Your Eyes" über „Your Sweet Love", „Till The Rivers All Run Dry" und "Falling In Love Again" bis zu "I Believe In You", "Love Songs" enthält sie alle. Alle dreizehn Songs wurden im 96k/24-bit Verfahren digital remastered.

Born May 27th in 1939 in Floyada, Texas he appeared on stage of a talent search show – just 3 years old. Until this date he can look back onto 56 Top 40 country hits in the US of which 17 made it to number 1 on the charts. But Don Williams also is an exceptionally gifted song writer.
