Case 150, das sind Mark Tomeo, Dan Rusito, Ken Geist und Thom Bissey. Der Album Titel „Twang Pop" lässt jetzt nicht vermuten, dass es sich hier bei um Country Music handelt. Doch die verwendeten Instrumente sprechen eine andere Sprache. Pedal Steel, Dobro, 12-String Gitarre, Banjo, Mandoline, Bass oder Harmonika sind ein deutliches Indiz dafür das es sich um Country Music handelt. Insgesamt finden sich zehn Songs wieder auf dem Album, welches schon 2003 aufgenommen wurde.

Thom Bissey, der bei der Band unter die Rubrik Mr. Instrument fällt, verbrachte ein ppar Jahre in Tucson, Arizona und spielte in der Zeit in verschiedenen Punk-, Jazz- oder Country Bands. Dort fand er dann auch seine Liebe über die Band „Bandicoots" zum Twang. Ken Geist, der wie kein zweiter in der Band die 12-String Gitarre beherrscht, nahm in der Vergangenheit mit verschiedenen Bands aus Pennsylvania wie „Spelling Tuesday", „Unlce Sam" oder „Plasticville" schon Produktionen auf. Alle Bandmitglieder zusammen verfassten den unnachahmlichen Sound von Case 150, der eine Mischung aus New Country Music und Twang Pop ist und doch seine starken Wurzeln im traditionellen Country hat.

Case 150: Mark Tomeo, Dan Rusito, Ken Geist and Thom Bissey are called "Case 150". The title of the Album cannot be supposed to contain country music. However this is confirmed by the instruments used in this context. Pedal Steel, Dobro, 12-string guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass or harmonica indicate clearly the country music style. The album shows 10 songs being recorded already in 2003 . Thom Bissey who figures under the category "Mr. Instrument" passed a couple of years in Tucson, Arizona and played in that time with different punk- jazz- or country-bands. There he fell in love with "Twang" which he came to know in the band „Bandicoots" . Ken Geist who has the best command of the 12 string guitar made records already in the past with various bands from Pennsylvania, the „Spelling Tuesday", „Unlce Sam" and „Plasticville". The synthesis of the members results in the inimitable sound of "Case 150", which is a mixture of New Country Music and Twang Pop although it has it’s roots in the traditional country music.
