Geboren ist Augusta in Kentucky. Angetan von den Alben von Emmy Lou Harris und der Band ihres Vaters, die Cover-Songs von Merle Haggard und den Eagles spielte, war ihr schon als Kind klar, dass sie einmal Musik machen möchte.

Doch bis es soweit kommen sollte, wechselten ihre Idole in Whitney Houston, Madonna und Gloria Estefan. Dann kam ihr Vater zu ihr und fragte Augusta ob sie nicht in seiner Band mitsingen wolle. Hier erinnerte sich Augusta dann daran, welches ihre erste Liebe war: Country Music. Als sie dann anfing Songs von Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline, The Judds und Dolly Parton zu singen, um mal nur ein paar Namen zu nennen, war ihr klar: Country Music is my first love!

Zwischenzeitlich fing sie dann mit dem Studium an, denn jeder sollte in seinem Leben einmal etwas gelernt haben. Doch auch in dieser Zeit hielt sie Kontakt zur Musik-Szene. Spielte 3 – 4 mal in der Woche abends in verschiedenen Clubs. Hier fand sie dann auch für sich den Spagat zwischen Aretha Franklin über Bonnie Raitt bis hin zur Country Music.

1996 zog es sie dann nach Nashville um ihren Traum,Country-Star zu werden, zu verwirklichen. Auf ihrem Album finden sich zehn Songs, die alle von Augusta geschrieben wurden. Augusta die zurzeit im Gespräch mit verschiedenen großen Record Labels in Nashville ist, präsentiert einen erfrischenden Country-Sound. Anzusiedeln zwischen Faith Hill und Shania Twain. Doch es kein Abklatsch. Die einzelnen Songs sind selbständig und textlich vielversprechend. Ihr aktuelles Album hat sie übrigens ihrem Großvater gewidmet.

Augusta was born in Kentucky. Influenced by the records from Emmy Lou Harris and the Band of her father, that played Cover-Songs from Merle Haggard and the Eagles, it was clear allready in her childhood that she wanted to make music.

But till she actualy started making music, her idols changed to Whitney Houston, Madonna, and Gloria Estefan. Then her father came to her and asked if she wanted to sing in his Band. He also reminded Augusta of what her first Love was : Country Music. Then, when she started singing the Songs from Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire, Patsy Cline, The Judds, and Dolly Parton- to mention only a few names- it was clear to her : Country Music is my first love!

In the mean time she started College, because everybody should learn a proffesion in their life. But in the hole time she keept contact to the Music Business. She played 3 – 4 nights a week in several Clubs. Here she also managed to spin the threat between Aretha Franklin to Bonnie Raitt over to Country Music.

In 1996 then she moved to Nashville to life her dream and become a Country-Star. On her Album are ten Songs, that are all written by Augusta. A refreshing Country-Sound somewhere between Faith Hill and Shania Twain is what Augusta presents. But she isn’t a copy-cat. All of her Songs have her personality and the lyrics are very promissing. She dedicated this Album to her Grandfather.
