Mit 12 Jahren erhielt sie von ihrem Vater die erste Gitarre. Ab dem Zeitpunkt war der Weg von ihr vorgeschrieben. Sie schrieb ihre ersten Songs und brachte sich so nebenbei auch noch das Gitarre spielen bei. Der Erfolg stellte sich nach und nach ein. Und wie ein einfaches und gutes Album mit 12 Titeln produziert werden kann, demonstriert Sarah Blackwood mit „Way Back Home". Eine Mischung aus Folk, Country und Rock erwartet den geneigten Zuhörer.

With the age of 12 she got her first guitar from her father. From that moment on her path was set. She wrote her own Songs and tough herself to play the guitar. Her success came little after little.
