What did you do before you got into the music business?
Answer: I have ALWAYS been in the music business...
Ch.L.: Country Music has many new fans in Europe who may be learning about you for the first time. How would you describe the music you play to someone who's never seen or heard you before?
Answer: country /rock alternative with a POSITIVE attitude!
Ch.L.: What is your current CD and how is it doing?
Answer:My current CD is HEAVEN,getting lots of reviews at webpage www.cdbaby.com/amybeth3 also there is other CD of mine alterna hillbillyrock-country 'FULL SERVICE LOVE' at MusicPlaces.com
Ch.L.: How did you find the
title for the CD and what inspired you?
Answer: Inspired by Bible scripture; 'The Kingdom of God is within us'
Ch.L.: Do you write the songs yourself and if not, how do you go about finding songs for your albums?
Answer: Mostly I write all my songs; but I like to co-write too!I find my songs thru songwriting places that I'm a member of...
Ch.L.: Please tell us about the songs on your album.
Answer: All about self-discovery; search for freedom and life, love and the world around us!
Ch.L.: What is the different between your last and your current album?
Answer: The last album was rockabilly/rock blues.This is more alterna/country/pop style of late 1960's early 1970's...
Ch.L.: What kind of songs do you like to record the most?
Answer: Message songs,ballads, love songs, dance tunes....
Ch.L.: What's your favorite song among all the songs you've recorded and what's the story behind it?
Answer: My favorite is 'ROSES ON THE PIANO" the story behind it is that is a beautiful (my original)tribute to Elvis Aaron Presley.
Oh; another fav I recorded(my original) THE LOVE THAT WE SHARE. I was taken ill at the time and while recovering I wrote this song as a eulogy to my family! We became re-united in good health too! THANK GOD! I sent copy of my story and song to LU LU ROMAN from the TV country music show HEE HAW here in the USA...she love it and recorded it on one of her country/gospel albums too!
Ch.L.: How much creative control do you have over your music?
Answer: 110%!!!!!
Ch.L.: There's a lot of work that goes into a Number One hit ... what does it take to make it?
Answer: lots of hard work and loyal fans!!!
Ch.L.: How much do your songs influence your audience?
Answer: More than I realize...they are very moved and touched by them.
Ch.L.: The internet is playing a bigger and bigger part in the world of music. Has the internet hurt or helped you and how would you like to see it evolve?
Answer: It has helped me very,very much...would like to see it evolve more to generate more royalities money for songs too.
Ch.L.: Who do you look up to musically and where do your musical roots come from?
Answer: ELVIS AARON PRESLEY!!!
Ch.L.: What did you do before you got into the music business?
Answer: Always been in music.
Ch.L.: What do you think about today's Country Music versus its roots and where do you see it going in the future?
Answer: Today's music is too COMMERICIAL.It will probally become more electronic infusion with other music styles in future.
Ch.L.: In your opinion, what is the biggest difference between "traditional" and "new" country music?
Answer: Electronic effects have changed country music.Other genres are being blended in.
Ch.L.: If you had the chance to change something about the music industry, what would it be?
Answer: To have more options for indie artists...
Ch.L.: As an artist you have to do so many different things such as recording, touring, doing interviews etc. What do you like best, what's your favorite activity?
Answer: Bicycle riding, long walks along the beach here...in the Ocean State.....
Ch.L.: Are you doing doing anything to take country music beyond it’s current borders or are you happy where it is?
Answer: Happy where it is.Would like to try more things too...
Ch.L.: How did you get into Country Music ... is there a story behind it?
Answer: My uncle would sing and play guitar to Gene Autry songs ,read Bible stories and my mom would play records of Patty Page, Kitty Wells, radio in the 1950's mostly Ferlin Husky,ect........then Elvis came on the scene
Ch.L.: Before you became a star, where your friends and family supportive or was it a struggle?
Answer: It has and continues to be BOTH for me....
Ch.L.: Has your journey to success been a hard or an easy road?
Answer: Same thing here...it has and does appear to be both...
Ch.L.: What drives you? What inspired you to become an artist?
Answer: Funny question? If I were Willie Nelson; I could say;WINE,WOMEN,&SONG! But no I can't...I love to creative and want to always share ideas..maybe that drives me...
Ch.L.: What does it take to be a Country Star?
Answer: Power ,Purpose, Pride, Persistence, and lots of PERSPIRATION!
Ch.L.: What's unique about you that differentiates you from other artists?
Answer: 'I hope that I don't really sound like nobody else'
Ch.L.: What's the best thing about being a star and what's the hardest thing?
Answer: Traveling and meeting fans! Being away from family & friends...
Ch.L.: What has been your greatest challenge in music business?
Answer: over-coming STAGE fright!
Ch.L.: What moments in your career stand out in your memory as highlights and achievements which you're proud of?
Answer: Performing at Sun Studios in Memphis Tennessee, also becoming an Honorary Kentucky Colonel
Ch.L.: Who's your biggest critic, yourself or others?
Answer: I am my own critic!
Ch.L.: When you get time off, how do you like to relax?
Answer: lounge around ,soak my feet in bath crystals and read a GOOD book!
Ch.L.: Is there anything in your life that you would change if you could?
Answer: To go back and do this all over again...and again...
Ch.L.: What private hopes and desires do you have?
Answer: To have my own Little Theatre. To have chance to help more those in need...
Ch.L.: What has been the biggest disappointment in your life?
Answer: having been taken advantage of ...
Ch.L.: Can your European fans look forward to seeing you in concert in the future?
Answer: I do hope so!!!
Ch.L.: What can your fans expect to see when they see you in concert?
Answer: Hope to see me ...of course sing my best!
Ch.L.: When you're on tour, do you have time to play tourist?
Answer: Sure do! It's fun.....
Ch.L.: Do fans mob you everywhere you go or do they allow you a private life?
Answer: Only happened to me in Las Vegas and during Fan Fair in Nashville,TN .My life is very private in my hometown.
Ch.L.: Many music fans today get their information about artists via the internet. Do you have your own website and what will fans find there?

Ch.L.: What are your plans for the future?
Answer: to do films and TV.....perform more as well....
Ch.L.: What's the best compliment a fan has ever given you?
Answer: That I make them feel HAPPY about themself!
Ch.L.: What's your favorite song that you didn't record and why?
Answer: WOMAN IN THE PICTURE.I feel that is for a male artist to sing.It is another original song of mine.
Ch.L.: What message would you like to send your European fans?
Answer: that I love you all!! Hope that we can all be 'One Family Under One Great Sky'!!
Ch.L.: Is there anything you’d like to say to your fans that we haven’t covered?
Answer: To NEVER give up! NEVER give in!
Ch.L.: What is the latest news in your career?
Answer: auditioning for some upcoming film projects...
